These days, it is hard to find something that wasn’t turned into a subscription service. After the success of other streaming services, it was only a matter of time before the gaming giants got in on it. The newest addition to the family is from Ubisoft and it is called Uplay+. This is Ubisoft’s attempt at bringing their entire portfolio to gamers for a monthly price; past and recent games. As of the time of writing, Uplay+ is only available on PC through uPlay.
Is it worth it? Well, it depends on what type of games you like, however, keep in mind that most Ubisoft games feel similar to each other and always have random RPG mechanics and looting. Though, if you are a huge fan of Splinter Cell and Assassins Creed the service may actually be worth it for a couple of months.
Ultimately, we think Uplay+ is just another subscription service that doesn’t offer anything new or unique. It just doesn’t have nearly the same value as the other choices in the market.

Canceling the Uplay+ service through the Ubisoft Store
- Access MY SUBSCRIPTION PAGE
- Click on Cancel Membership
- You’ll be redirected to another page where you will find the confirmation button at the bottom of the page.
- Clicking on Yes, Cancel my Subscription will allow you to confirm the cancelation process.
Once you have canceled the service, the Cancel Membership button will be replaced with the button Re-Activate Uplay+. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the subscription period.
Canceling the Uplay+ service through Uplay
- Click your account name in the top right-hand corner of the application
- From the menu, select Account Information
- Locate the UPLAY+ section and click on Manage. You’ll be redirected to the My Subscription page in your browser.
- Click on Cancel Membership
- You will be redirected to another page where you will find the confirmation button at the bottom of the page.
- Click on Yes, Cancel my Subscription to confirm the cancellation process.
Once you have canceled the service, the Cancel Membership button will be replaced with the button Re-Activate Uplay+. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the subscription period.
